June 19, 2018 at 3:49 pm #1114jstsal69ParticipantI also can not change the size of the fonts.
June 19, 2018 at 3:56 pm #1115jstsal69ParticipantWe do some changes reflect in the website immediately and some take hours to reflect the change?
June 20, 2018 at 4:45 am #1116Shop ManagerKeymasterHi,
You have missed the home page settings.
1. Create a Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.
Label it “home” or anything as you wish. Then select template “home-page” from template drop-down.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading –> Set the front page display static page to home page

Thanks
June 21, 2018 at 3:57 am #1117jstsal69ParticipantI have several questions:
1. How can I center the top menu?
2. How can I make the Sliding banner pics crop to size and make the banner size smaller like the one in the demo?
3. How can I crop the “Latest Categories” pics so that they are all the same size?
4. Pics in “post section” and “recent posts” are not showing, how can I get them to show?
5. Old posts are now showing with text skewed and pics all over the place in the post, how can I correct?
6. Also I used the plug in to remove duplicate title and it deleted both titles, how do I correct?
Thanks.
June 21, 2018 at 4:04 am #1118jstsal69ParticipantI have sent an email with username and pswd to help assist you. Thanks in advance.
June 21, 2018 at 4:33 am #1119Shop ManagerKeymasterHi,
For the menu:
Please go to Appearance -> Menus -> And named that menu as ”Primary Menu” and checked the primary menu checkbox present at the bottom under the menu settings. It will make it centered.For the banner, you need to resize your slide images to this 1400 x 540px. Make sure all the slide should have the same size.
Same for the categories section, the should be of the same size. Otherwise, if we do this with the code then it will shrink or stretch your image that will not look good.
In order to show the images in the post, you will need to add the featured images in the post. Check this http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-featured-image-or-post-thumbnails-in-wordpress/
Are you talking about the excerpt text showing the 4 lines only?
We will look into the title here.
Thanks
June 21, 2018 at 2:41 pm #1122jstsal69ParticipantThanks for all the help! The double title is when you click on a post it shows the title in above the post and one in the post. And when I used the title hiding feature suggested in a previous “support post” it deletes both titles. Thanks.
June 21, 2018 at 3:14 pm #1123jstsal69ParticipantAlso on the smaller screens the posts and pics seem to align better but on the laptop (larger screens) the format is all messed up. While editing posts the alignment of characters and pics looks perfect…but once on the website its a mess. How can I fix this? Also how can I correct the double title problem? Thanks.
June 22, 2018 at 1:39 am #1125jstsal69ParticipantTo answer the above question on what lines in the post are messed up…it is not the post summary on the homepage. When you select a post and go to a single post page the test is centered on each line and can not be change to resemble the format in the admin section.
June 22, 2018 at 6:43 am #1126Shop ManagerKeymasterHi,
As per your query, we are giving you some easy steps and CSS to remove the Double Title issue.
Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS >> Put the given CSS on it >> Publish.
h1.template-title {
display: none;
}
And for the other laptop viewpoint please provide us screenshot.
So we can review the point and give you some solution for that.
ThanksJune 23, 2018 at 3:10 am #1127jstsal69ParticipantI have submitted screen shots in an email to support. The screen shot image of the “edit post” page has the left justified selected and appears like we want our post to appear in the webpage. The screen shot image of the “additional CSS” has the required code provided above but did not fix the double title in the “post page.” The screen image of the “post page” shows the double title for the post and I want to get rid of the top title. The screen shot image also shows that the characters in the body of the post are “center” aligned when they should be “left” aligned like the “edit post” page. I have also added a username and pswd in the email so you can if required access the site to fix. Pls help!!!! Thanks.
June 23, 2018 at 4:44 am #1128Shop ManagerKeymasterOk. We will look into it and give you the solution as soon as possible.
