As you all try to address my search engine issue and request to remove the cents (.00″) from the dollar amount, if it is not a lot more work would you be able to see if commas could be put into the dollar amounts over $999.
For example, currently it displays $125000.00 but it would be wonderful if it could be $125,000 (no cents and a comma every three digits). Another example would be $1400000.00 could be $1,400,000.
I TRULY appreciate all of your help as I get ready to launch this new version of my real estate website. The items above are the last things I need to address before I launch this site out to our clients (I definitely plan to come back and give you all a great testimonial ๐
Thank you!nicoleketcherParticipantI just emailed you this information. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me to help resolve this issue.
Thank you so much for your assistance. The best of luck!
NicolenicoleketcherParticipantI just emailed you this information.
To clarify, for the property dollar amounts, I am just looking to remove the portion that shows the cents “.00”. I still want the actual dollar sign, $, to be visible.
Thanks much and good luck!
nicoleketcherParticipantPerfect, thank you very much!
nicoleketcherParticipantHere is a link to a folder in google drive with 8 screenshots showing my issue.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CUY8CX9l-nKp4VPLS9pzexIlS8M21zVz?usp=sharing
Shots 1-6: Show how I set up the Property called “7300 Halstead Drive” (which is incorrectly given to me in my search shown in Shots 7 & 8)
Shot 7: Shows my search criteria as Property Type: “Single-Family”, Location: “Mound, MN”
Shot 8: Shows the search results given to me. It goes directly to a single property and doesn’t show me the results as a list (as in your demo). The property it gives me is “7300 Halstead Drive” which does NOT meet the search criteria. This property’s Type: “Land”, Location: “Minnetrista, MN”Am I setting up my properties incorrectly or is there something you can help me do to resolve this issue?
Thank you so much for the attention you are giving to my issue. It is greatly appreciated!
NicolenicoleketcherParticipantThank you! This worked perfectly!
This code did change the paragraph sections on my pages, properties, testimonials and blogs which is what I needed. The testimonial section on the homepage did increase in font too. Is there a simple code I can put into the Additional CSS that will also increase the font size for the “About Us” section on the home page?
Thank you! ๐
nicoleketcherParticipantI am more than happy to send back screenshots; however, I am unable to attach documents to this post.
Would you please let me know how to attach a picture to this post or give me an email address where I can send the screenshots to you directly?
Thank you ๐
nicoleketcherParticipantAnother note… I have been trying to figure this out and in doing so I have added more properties. Every search results keeps giving me the EXACT same property but it seems to change to the last one I posted. As of now, the search results are no longer giving me “1680 Bluebird Lane” but now I keep getting “7300 Halstead Drive” no matter how I change the criteria.
I have no clue why this won’t work. Hopefully you all know an easy fix! ๐
nicoleketcherParticipantIf it helps, it seems like the property search engine results just shows me the very last property I had entered into the “Properties” section. I tested this out, and the search ALWAYS gives me the last property I typed in regardless of the search criteria.
nicoleketcherParticipantTECH SUPPORT:
I have the same question related to adding commas and removing the cents to the US dollar money label. Is it possible to do this, as it is customary to use commas with large numbers and not cents on house values?NIGELH:
I had the same issue with my logo. I found that when you bring the photo in, it worked if I cropped off a little bit of the top and/or bottom of my logo. This made the logo move up on the header and to get out of the menu bar. I don’t know if this is the best technical way to do it, but it was a good work around for me??Nicole
nicoleketcherParticipantPerfect, thank you ๐
nicoleketcherParticipantThis form worked very well. Thank you!
nicoleketcherParticipantI was actually able to find the issue and fix it. Here is how I fixed it.
Before uploading the child theme I added some content to the parent theme. To fix the banner issue, I went and shut off the child theme and then removed the added content from the parent theme. I then turned the parent them back on. The banners now work perfectly!
nicoleketcherParticipantI had the same problem and this easy fix worked like a charm! Thank you!
