Hi, I have added the bit gallery plug-in, when I go to my home page in edit mode I add some images to the gallery section at the bottom. However they don’t display. Can you let me know what i am doing wrong ..

Are you trying to upload it to the home page? Basically, it won’t work for the home page. It works for the inner pages. If you could let us know where you want to add the gallery on the home page then we will find some better way to resolve it.

Hi, many thanks for your reply, for now I have resolved it using the gallery widget in the footer but this displays the gallery on all pages which is not ideal. I would prefer to have the gallery displayed after the main content and before the footers start, taking into consideration the side bar. Similar to how you have described its usage in the documentation ‘displaying the About Us page.

So you want the gallery before the footer. We have one solution you just need to put the gallery shortcode into the homepage editor. It will come at the top before the slider. As we have fetched the homepage editor content before the slider. If you want that content shifted to before footer the this can be done with the help of child theme. We will just shift that section to that position.
To do this we need your WordPress admin details. So if you are interested, make a user for us assign administrator role and send us the username and password along with the URL at [email protected].
